HAIRFRIEND™

48 HOUR CANCELLATION/CHANGE POLICY 

100% of the reserved service(s) amount will be charged for cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours notice. 48 hours provide just enough time to make arrangements with standby clients to fill the appointment. This is important as independent stylists are required to pay for their workspace and time regardless of cancellations.

15 MINUTE LATE POLICY

If a client is 15 minutes late or more, it will be up to my discretion to assess how much of the service can be performed during the remaining time.

HAIR PREPARATION FOR NEW & RETURNING CLIENTS

In order to accurately assess curl and growth pattern variations along with shrinkage, it’s important to prepare the hair as follows for the consultation:

  • Please arrive with hair completely dry, *detangled (please see “Detangling” below), down (not in a ponytail or pinned), recently cleansed, conditioned and styled

  • Please avoid wearing ponytails, pins, headbands, hats, braids, etc before your appointment as they stretch curls

  • Product in the hair is ok as long as it’s not very oily or heavy

  • Please avoid arriving with blown out or ironed hair

  • You will still receive a lovely shampoo, condition, scalp massage, style and dry service :-)

DETANGLING

If the hair takes you longer than 10 minutes to detangle, it’s best to schedule a conversation before booking an appointment at piavivashair@gmail.com so I can schedule enough time.

**Without advanced notice of detangling service, clients may be charged the full amount of the appointment without receiving the full service due to time limitations. There is also an additional fee for every 15 minutes of detangling.

COVID-19

Appointments are held in a private, sanitized, salon suite at Salon Republic in Santa Monica. State and local disinfection protocols are followed. Appointments are one on one. Masked appointments available upon request.
